Why Ticket Fairy
Protect Fair Access When Popular Tickets Change Hands
Unofficial sellers raising ticket prices?
Use purchase limits, named tickets and controlled face-value resale to protect your buyers and your event brand.
Transfers causing confusion at the door?
After a transfer or resale, the new attendee gets their ticket and the old QR code stops working.
Banning resale hurts real buyers?
When you block all transfers, legitimate ticket buyers who can't attend lose their money. You need controlled resale, not a blanket ban.
How Ticket Fairy helps
Reduce Unofficial Resale Without Blocking Legitimate Buyers
Ticket scalping damages the event brand, frustrates ticket buyers and moves money into an unofficial market. Ticket Fairy can use personalised tickets tied to the buyer's identity, ID checks at entry and a controlled marketplace where tickets are resold at face value plus disclosed fees.
When a ticket buyer cannot attend, they can list the ticket on Ticket Fairy's resale exchange. The new buyer pays face value plus the disclosed fees, and the original buyer receives the applicable resale refund under your terms. You stay in control, the new attendee gets their ticket and the old code stops working.

More about this solution
How Anti-Scalping Ticketing Works
When you use personalised tickets, the ticket carries the buyer's name and you can require a matching photo ID at entry. After a transfer or face-value resale, the new attendee gets their ticket and the old code stops working.
Ticket buyers who cannot attend can list their ticket in the face-value resale marketplace. The listing stays on the event page and follows the event organiser's rules. After a sale, the original buyer receives a refund and the new buyer receives a new personalised ticket.

Anti-Scalping: Common Questions
Anti-Scalping: Common Questions
How does Ticket Fairy prevent ticket scalping?
Ticket Fairy gives you three layers of protection against scalping: personalised tickets tied to buyer identity, ID verification at entry, and a controlled resale marketplace where tickets can only be resold at face value plus disclosed fees. You switch on named tickets and ID checks for each event, and you can add purchase limits for each buyer.
What happens when a buyer cannot attend?
They resell the ticket through Ticket Fairy at face value. You choose how resale works for each event: the buyer names a friend who can buy it, anyone can buy it from your resale page, or the people on your waiting list get it first, in order. When the ticket sells, the new buyer gets their own ticket, the old code stops working and the original buyer receives their resale refund under your terms.
Can a resold ticket cost more than face value?
No. Tickets on the resale marketplace sell at face value plus the disclosed fees, so nobody can raise the price.
Will ID checks slow down entry?
With name checks switched on, door staff check the name on each ticket against the guest's photo ID as they scan it. Switch on name and ID checks only for the events that need them.
